Kenya Herpetology Tours
Kenya Herpetology Tours is a dedicated herping safari company based in Nairobi, Kenya. We are guided by sustainable tourism principles and part of our profits are channeled directly to conservation and research.

Our herping tours and safaris contribute to several conservation and sustainability projects in Kenya, including:
School Education Program:
We educate school children about the conservation of reptiles and amphibians, as a gateway to environmental conservation. Our project involves school talks, school ecology trips and supporting school wildlife clubs.
Wildlife and Ecological Research Training for early-career Scientists:
We train young early-career Scientists on wildlife and ecological research techniques. Our training spans many themes, including data collection, data analysis, reports/ articles and papers’ writing. Most of our training sessions take place in the field, led by our enthusiastic team of research experts. Our trainings are offered at no cost to the trainees, since all costs are covered by our company or our partners.

Conservation and Research on reptiles and amphibians in Kenya:
We partner with the Herpetology Section at the National Museums of Kenya and the Kenya Herpetofauna Working Group to run research and conservation projects in Kenya. Some of our projects include: Aberdare Ranges Reptile and Amphibian Research Project; Nairobi Reptile and Amphibian Research Project; Arabuko Sokoke Forest Reptile and Amphibian Research Project; Kakamega Forest Reptile and Amphibian Research Project; Marsabit County Reptile and Amphibian Research Project; Kinangop Plateau Reptile and Amphibian Research Project; and Mt.
